What is Bridge Mode?


Asus wifi extender devices can be configured and setup for many possible operating modes. Using http //repeater.Asus.com admin page you can setup and change the operating mode for your Asus wifi extender device.

In this article, we are explaining one advance operating mode that is “Bridge Mode” for your devices. When you get this bridge mode for your device, you can have media sharing for multiple devices. When you have bridge mode for your Asus devices, you can make sure that you will not need separate wifi adapters for your devices.
Steps to Configure Bridge Mode for Asus WiFi Extender Devices
1.     Have login for your Asus wifi extender setup page. For that, you can connect your Asus extender and computer using Ethernet cable.
2.     Open web browser and fill http //repeater.Asus.com in the address bar.
3.     Fill Asus wifi extender login user name and password.
4.     After that select “Advanced Settings” button.
5.     Click on “Administration” button. This button will allow you to change all advance settings for your Asus extender.

6.     There you will select “Operation Mode” button so click on this button.
7.     You can select “Media Bridge” button and click on “Apply” button. This will save your media mode for your Asus wifi extender device. Learn the things that you should do if you find that your Asus wifi connections are dropping frequently.
